Opening of the International Chess Tournament for the President’s Cup of the Republic of Tajikistan

On November 10, 2025, a grand opening ceremony for the International Chess Tournament for the President’s Cup of the Republic of Tajikistan took place at the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe Hotel.


The event is held within the framework of the sports-oriented policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and is organized in accordance with the calendar of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) and the Unified Calendar Plan of Physical Culture and Sports Events of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025.


More than 230 chess players from 16 countries around the world are participating in the tournament, which will take place in Dushanbe from November 9 to 16, 2025.


The competition is dedicated to the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and aims to:

-Promote the development of chess in the country;

-Strengthen international cooperation;

-Popularize a healthy lifestyle among youth.


The organizers of the event are the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Chess Federation of Tajikistan.

The clinic also addresses several high-demand medical areas in the region, including allergy and immunology, endoscopy, coloproctology, traumatology and orthopedics, rheumatology, nephrology, efferent therapy, and pediatric dentistry.The clinic is equipped with modern medical technology, including a digital dermatoscope based on biophotonics, the GENORAY mammography system, the SonoScape HD-550 video endoscopy system, the Dixion ST-E600 ENT workstation, and the AP-01 membrane plasmapheresis device.
